This presentation was prepared as part of the From Tap to Toilet project and is intended mainly for practitioners: staff of water utilities, wastewater treatment plants and other water management facilities.
It serves as a flexible basis for public outreach, whether during excursions, open days or educational events such as World Water Day.
The presentation introduces the journey of water in an engaging way, from the source through treatment and use to its return to nature. It includes interactive elements, story-based scenarios and diagrams that can be easily adapted to the age and interests of the audience.
The material is designed to help professionals prepare their program and explain clearly, while staying technically accurate, that water is not something to take for granted but a precious resource that needs care.

This project is funded by the European Union under the National Recovery Plan.
The project aims to improve the quality of expert-led educational visits, lectures and demonstrations in water education. It focuses primarily on providing support and materials for teachers, experts and water utility staff who lead educational visits.
