Water experiments
Playing with activated sludge
The "Playing with activated sludge" teaching aid shows how sludge cleans water by removing impurities. Children try a simple experiment with foam and dye and observe what happens in two different containers. In a playful way, they learn why treatment plants are important for protecting nature. This teaching aid can be borrowed from CzWA. If you are interested, please use the contact form.

Sewer Detective
With the "Sewer Detective" teaching aid, children become real detectives who use a camera to inspect pipes like professionals. They look for different obstacles that do not belong in the sewer, such as grease, stones or a rat. In a playful way, they learn what should not go down the drain and why it is important to take care of the sewer system. This teaching aid can be borrowed from CzWA. If you are interested, please use the contact form.

Water treatment plant
The "Water treatment plant" teaching aid shows how raw water becomes drinking water. Children try the individual treatment steps themselves and learn what needs to happen before water comes out of the tap. This teaching aid can be borrowed from CzWA. If you are interested, please use the contact form.

The journey of water
The "Journey of water" teaching aid shows how sound can reveal where water flows through pipes. Using a stethoscope, children search for the correct routes in a pipe maze and mark them in a worksheet. In a playful way, they learn how water utilities detect faults in water supply networks. This teaching aid can be borrowed from CzWA. If you are interested, please use the contact form.
