Download materials
This guide is a comprehensive manual for preparing and leading educational visits at wastewater treatment plants.
It offers structured content adapted for different age groups, from primary school pupils to curious students.
To make the explanation easier, the topic is divided into three engaging stories: the story of water, the story of substances and energy, and the story of the people working at a wastewater treatment plant.
The document includes practical tips for preparing a visit, detailed descriptions of individual technologies and answers to frequently asked questions, making it a valuable source of information.
For teachers and wastewater treatment plant staff, it is a practical tool for organizing an engaging educational visit and raising awareness of the importance of wastewater treatment.
The health and safety guidelines cover safety rules for student visits to water management facilities.
Worksheets are also available to test students' knowledge of the topic in an engaging way.
